This distinctive Merlot 2015 — Chateau La Fleur St-Emilion AOC grand cru is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! This Merlot draws its strength and energy from the gravelly soils north and east of Gironde and Dordogne. The winemaker from the French winery Château La Fleur transforms it into a real treat with great sensitivity. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you offer this Merlot with duck or slightly spicy red meat.

Tasting note
The Château La Fleur 2022 presents intense aromas of ripe black cherries, violets and subtle notes of violets on the nose. On the palate, it shows an impressive balance between fruit and tannin, with a silky texture and a long, elegant finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with beef tenderloin, lamb dishes and aged cheese.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully picked by hand. After fermentation, the wine ages in oak barrels for 12-16 months to give it extra complexity and structure.
