Tasting note
The Château La Croix de Bourseau consists almost exclusively of Merlot. Ripe notes of forest and strawberries on the nose, accompanied by a touch of latte and dark chocolate. On the palate, blue to black berry with fine roasted aromas, velvety and again pleasantly sweet with ripe and interesting tannins and ends wonderfully aromatic with lots of black berries.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful with beef — from steaks to stroganoff to tartare or slow-cooked roasts from the oven.
Vinification
Ageing in barriques.
