About the wine
We have a special, strong Cabernet Sauvignon from 2014 for you, which will inspire many wine connoisseurs. The gravelly soils south of the city of Bordeaux form the breeding ground for this Cabernet Sauvignon. The winemaker from the French winery Château Haut-Lagrange knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Cabernet Sauvignon is ideal to serve with pizza with mushrooms or red meat.

Tasting note
The wine has a deep ruby red in the glass. The bouquet contains an intensely ripe fruit with notes of blackcurrants, blackberries and dark cherry. In addition, earthy notes and a fine mint, which provides the nose with the necessary freshness. Juicy on the palate and with elegant tannins. The aftertaste is long and harmonious.
Culinary recommendation
Great with cheese, lamb, beef and mushrooms.
Vinification
Fermentation is followed by maceration for 21 days. The wine is then aged for 16 months. 40% matures in new oak barrels, 60% in steel tanks.
