Tasting note
Wonderful aromas of currants and cassis, plus some graphite and cedarwood. The tannins are well integrated and give the wine a velvety structure.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with a barbecue evening, but also with mature cheese.
Vinification
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, which come from vines that are on average 45 years old. The wine is stored for 14 months in oak barrels, 40% of which are new.
