Tasting note
Dark purple with purple reflections. Red and dark berries on the nose, fine roasted aromas, elegant and mineral, on the palate concise but finely honed tannins. Nice structure, classic and elegant.
Culinary recommendation
An elegant accompaniment to meat dishes, lamb and game or to wild fowl, pies and mature cheeses.
Vinification
80% of the approximately 8 ha of vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. The average age of the vines is 35 years. After pressing, the grapes picked by hand are fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The young wine is then aged for 16 to 18 months in 60% new oak barrels.
