About the wine
The Château de Malessert is a historic gem of Swiss cultural heritage and dates back to the 10th century. It is one of the few “Premier Grand Cru” in Féchy that have been registered since 2011. The estate comprises 15 hectares of Chasselas vines planted on the slopes above Lake Geneva.

Tasting note
The wine is pale straw yellow. On the nose, complex floral aromas develop with fruity and mineral notes. On the palate, it is rich, harmonious and powerful, with a nice balance.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect as an aperitif and with cheese specialties such as fondue, raclette, cheesecake and quiches. It also goes well with poached freshwater fish and vegetable or fish terrines.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully picked by hand and vinified using traditional methods. The vines are planted on calcareous soil with a medium to heavy texture and are cultivated according to the Guyot system. The vinification traditionally takes place at a controlled temperature.
