About the wine
In 1858, the Ducourt family settled at a château in the village of Le Hourc in the municipality of Ladaux, a small idyllic village in Entre-Deux-Mers southeast of Bordeaux. The Entre-Deux-Mers wine region, translated as “Between Two Seas”, takes its name from the two rivers Garonne and Dordogne that border the area. Château de Beauregard is a historic property that was acquired by the family in 1973. The vineyards benefit from the southern slope, which promotes optimal ripening of the grapes. The Réserve de Famille Ducourt was originally created from the desire to produce a great wine from grapes from the best vineyards of the year. Due to demand, a little more of the family reserve has been produced over the years so that selected Bordeaux lovers can also enjoy it.
