About the wine
The gravelly, clay-rich soils in the north of the city of Bordeaux form the breeding ground for this Merlot. The winemaker from the French winery Château Chasse Spleen knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine. Tasting note
Dark garnet red with purple reflections. The nose features notes of black cherry, red fruits and tarragon, complemented by umami-like notes and a mineral spice reminiscent of fireplace stone and pencil chips. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, characterized by juicy texture and soft tannins supported by a fine, enveloping grain. At the core, a nice depth that merges into a persistent, fragrant finish.
