About the wine
Olivier Seze has been the proud owner of this gem since 1982. That is certainly the name of this château, which is located in the small community of St-Seurin de Cadourne near the appellate border of St-Estèphe. The locations, which are only about 50 m above the Gironde, are very barren and stony. The château, however, is located in a beautiful little cauldron with old trees and is virtually a neighbour of Château Sociando-Mallet.

Tasting note
This will be remembered: its noble ruby red gives every occasion a special touch. Château Charmail MC's refreshing bouquet of fruit compote, spices and tobacco shows complex aromas and plenty of culinary potential. The dominant notes of black cherry, black plum and black pepper create their individual texture. With subdued, pleasantly developed tannins, a strong body and dominant acidity, this fruity red wine presents its masterful quality. This top wine received the award: Falstaff: 93/100, Robert Parker: 91/100.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meats such as beef and lamb, entrecote, grill, semi-hard cheese and hard cheese.
