About the wine
Cap de Faugères is one of those wineries that shine in secret: The 20 hectares of vineyards are right on the border with the prestigious Saint-Émilion appellation, the calcareous soils and the terroir are almost identical. Same conditions, but much more accessible in price.

Tasting note
Charming and approachable, with aromas of juicy red fruits and subtle floral notes. The fresh, fruity character continues on the palate, where soft, well-integrated tannins provide good balance and a smooth texture.
Culinary recommendation
Grilled chicken, lamb stew, veal piccata, sautéed mushrooms.
Vinification
Château Cap de Faugères's vineyards cover 20 hectares on the border with St. Emilion and are managed in a natural way (HVE certified). The young wines are aged in steel tanks for 12 months.
