Tasting note
Deep ruby with purple reflections An open, dense bouquet on the nose. Riefly opulent and yet wonderfully elegant at the same time. Delicate nasal sweetener. Very good balance between fruit and use of barriques. On the palate, it is extremely complex. Delicate yet powerful, with fine tannins. Wonderful length. A convincing château!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with braised meat dishes and poultry such as Coq au Vin.
Vinification
The grape varieties, some from vines over 100 years old, are harvested and vinified separately. After maceration, the young wine is aged in barriques for 18 months. The Cuvée Prestige is only pressed in particularly good years.
