Tasting note
The Château Bourdieu Absolu 2016 features a deep red color and a bouquet of ripe red fruits such as plums and cherries, complemented by subtle notes of vanilla and spices. On the palate, it has a medium to full body structure with well-integrated tannins and a pleasant freshness. The aftertaste is long and harmonious.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with grilled or braised meat, particularly beef or lamb, as well as with aged hard cheeses such as Comté or Roquefort.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully harvested and destemmed by hand. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in French oak barrels.
