About the wine
North and east of Gironde and Dordogne are the gravelly soils, which offer the winemaker from the French Château Bellevue-Figeac winery everything he needs to live out his craft and produce a wine for discerning connoisseurs. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this provocative Merlot 2018 Château Bellevue-Figeac. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you serve this Merlot with slightly spicy red meat or poultry.

Tasting note
With a rich bouquet of blueberries, blackberries and black pepper, this dry cuvée goes perfectly with grilled pork, game and lamb.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with braised or roasted red meat, lamb, game dishes and aged cheeses such as Saint-Nectaire or Tomme de Savoie. Also ideal with rich stews and mushroom dishes.
Vinification
The aging takes place in barriques, 55% of which are new.
