About the wine
Treat yourself and your guests to the senses with the fine Chateau Belle-Vue Haut-Medoc AOC from 2011! The gravelly soils in Bordeaux form the breeding ground. The winemaker from the French winery Château Belle-Vue knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine.

Tasting note
Shows a deep ruby red color and a complex, inviting bouquet. On the nose, aromas of dark berries, black currants and plums develop, complemented by subtle notes of leather, tobacco and a fine wood barrel spice. On the palate, the wine is well-structured, with velvety tannins and a lively freshness that elegantly supports the fruit aromas. The aftertaste is long and shows a pleasant, balsamic freshness paired with fine spicy notes. A very harmonious wine that retains its charm both in its youth and with a little aging.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled beef, lamb chops, duck breast or venison fillet. This wine also goes well with aged cheeses such as Comté or Brie de Meaux.
Vinification
After manual harvesting, the grapes are sorted and destemmed. The wine ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels (30% new wood), which gives the wine a fine wood note and additional complexity.
