About the wine

The name Jean-Claude Boisset is associated with a unique, successful company history in one of the most traditional wine regions in the world, Burgundy. As a young man, Jean-Claude Boisset founded his own wine trading company in the early 1960s. As a small business owner with big visions, he soon began exporting his wines as well. Thanks to his entrepreneurial success and his winning, human character, he earned great respect and recognition everywhere. Today, the house based in Nuits-Saint-Georges (Les Ursulines) is one of the absolute top addresses in Burgundy. Grégory Patriat, the well-known oenologist, studied with Lalou Bize-Leroy/Romanée Conti and has been responsible for the winery's Burgundy wines since 2002. It was with great pride that Jean-Claude Boisset built a new winery in Nuits-Saint-Georges. The architect perfectly integrated the new winery into the landscape with great respect for nature.
