Tasting note
Seductive aromas of red and black cherries, rose petals, fine spices and subtle roasted notes. Elegant and profound on the palate with a silky texture, fine-grained tannins and a complex, long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with venison ragout, Wellington beef fillet, porcini risotto or aged brie de meaux.
Vinification
Manual harvesting, temperature-controlled maceration with regular pigeage, aging for approx. 18 months in French oak barriques, with a content of around 30—40% new wood.
