About the wine
The KOS winery is located in Hrnjanec, a small town on the famous wine route in the Zelina region about 25 km from Zagreb. The Kos family has worked in winemaking for generations and places great value on caring for both the vineyard and wine production. Various grape varieties are grown on a total of 5.5 hectares of vineyards, including Rheinriesling, Chardonnay, Kerner, Pinot Noir and autochthonous Kraljevina. The location of the vineyards in the vineyard micro-region is characterized by a continental climate, which brings cold winters and warm summers.

Tasting note
Straw yellow with golden reflections. Fragrant, typical Chardonnay bouquet on the nose, with citrus aromas, annanas and a delicate honey tone. Quite dense on the palate, with fine melting and juicy acidity. Notes of exotic fruits and peaches. Harmonious medium-length aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with risotto, meres or an aperitivo.
Vinification
After harvesting, the Chardonnay grapes are carefully pressed and fermented in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks. The young wine is also aged in stainless steel tanks
