About the wine
Under the careful management of father Nicolás and daughter Laura Catena, Catena Zapata has long since found its place among the world's most important wineries. Their barrique-aged Chardonnay from the Mendoza high altitudes impresses with a sophisticated aroma of vanilla, fine roasted notes, white petals and baked apple, complemented by a subtle minerality.

Tasting note
Brilliant, pale yellow with greenish reflections. The enchanting bouquet presents aromas of yellow citrus fruit, green pear peel and white flowers. Roasted brioche, yellow apple and quince jelly are accompanied by a touch of almond pastry. On the palate, the wine is intense elegance, fresh balance and fine fruit aromas. The great texture and subtle minerality extend to the fruity finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with tapas, bread salad and olives. Also wonderful as an aperitif or with vegetable casseroles.
