About the wine
Where Giorgio Rivetti, the oenological manager at La Spinetta S.S., produces wine, he always does so with the aim of using gentle, natural methods to emphasize the uniqueness of the grapes and the terroir. At all Spinetta wineries — two in Piedmont and one in Tuscany — low yields per hectare, the absence of fertilisers and the manual harvesting of healthy grapes form the basis for the high quality of the elegant, extract-rich wines, which are regularly rewarded by experts with high scores and awards.
