However, the Swiss Weingut Riehen is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this white wine. We think he succeeded! Tasting note
What a body and what concentration. A full-bodied Burgundian-style Chardonnay with aromas of vanilla, apple and lime blossom.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fondue & raclette, asparagus, seafood, poultry, fish.
Vinification
It takes up to 30 hours to press the grapes in the old basket press. The wine is aged in barriques for 22 months and bottled unfiltered.
