Today, all Alois Lageder homemade wines come from certified biodynamic viticulture (Demeter), including Chardonnay Gaun. Over two decades, Lageder has acquired the knowledge and experience to produce wines that not only come from sustainable viticulture that is compatible with nature, but are also stunningly good, which is unfortunately all too often a contradiction.

Today, all Alois Lageder homemade wines come from certified biodynamic viticulture (Demeter), including Chardonnay Gaun. Over two decades, Lageder has acquired the knowledge and experience to produce wines that not only come from sustainable viticulture that is compatible with nature, but are also stunningly good, which is unfortunately all too often a contradiction. Chardonnay fermented in steel tanks shows a lively, fresh aroma of beautiful complexity. It appears light, with elegant power and notes of ripe tropical fruits. On the palate, it is refreshing and long-lasting.
