About the wine
The estate is located on the Salento Peninsula, a part of Apulia, the heel of the Italian boot. Starting in 2015, Contrade is one of the latest of Masseria Li Veli's numerous successful projects. Once again, the Flavo family demonstrates their unmistakable sense for the right place and the right time. A wonderful estate where the grapes of small, local winegrowers are also processed, with a particular passion for the autochthonous Negroamaro and Malvasia. The wines have this special combination of originality and elegance, honest and charming, accessible and with style. Always and everywhere.

Tasting note
Lazy Lady - it exudes such a relaxed and cozy elegance, just the scent, soft, without much effort, without demanding projects, that is simply a wonderfully dreamy slouching between bright to yellow fruits, herbs, a little hay. On the palate, it is so pleasantly soft on the palate, the pure relaxation that flows so gently and harmoniously, and what is so mildly tart here, very gentle minerality, is nothing more than that fine, invigorating whiff when you hang out in the meadow so blissfully. Not for adventurers — great for anyone who just wants to be. Head off, pulse down, daydream. Simple can be so beautiful!

Vinification
Read and sort by hand. The temperature-controlled fermentation of the destemmed berries takes place in steel tanks, the aging for 3 months in small oak barrels
