Brilliant garnet red — beguiling intense nose with classic notes of cassis, blackberries, dried herbs, tobacco and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, this full-bodied red wine with lots of dark fruit like blackcurrants, blackberries and cherries, plus notes of cedarwood, dried Italian herbs and toast. The strong tannins give the wine a gently masculine note and make it reverberate for a long time on the finish.
