Tasting note
The “entry-level champagne” from Lelarge-Pugeot. It is no coincidence that this is in quotation marks: The reason is that this wine is more than just an introduction due to its high quality. The tradition is based on Pinot Meunier, which is rather rare in Champagne and only works with really good grapes. Aromas of flowers and brioche, nice intensity and a very delicate perlage with integrated lactic acidity. Earthy notes of Pinot Meunier on the palate, with an extremely long finish.
