About the wine

Jeeper - and in fact the name comes from the jeep that was used to drive everything leisurely through the vineyards at the beginning of 1949. Instead of Ross. And it is precisely here that strength, reserves and elegance combine to create the unmistakable Jeeper taste - and what is different than unique can be what Michel Reybier touches, who has been the main owner of this winery for several years and has two great colleagues with Myriam and Nicolas Dubois and an outstanding winemaker with Sidonie Lalauze-Martin, who guarantees uniqueness when it comes to taste - the Chardonnay is partly aged in old Burgundy barrels - and when cultivating the 60 ha of vineyards. The estate has received several awards for its high sustainability standards for the environment and people and aims to be CO2-neutral from 2025. So the independence runs through here: And even if you don't know anything about it, you can taste it! Great champagnes of beguiling richness and intensity, the Jeeper button!

Tasting note
Switchblade - so solid, super fast. The scent, this solid peace, what a quality: the golden, ripe fruit rests in the glass, lots of yeast, as expected: the mineral tension, slightly dusty. It pops out on the palate, the perlage, the acidity: citrus, the minerality, that is dynamism and precision also thanks to the solid fullness, cutting clear and focused, the ripe fruit lubricates this fascinating fast mechanism. Razor-sharp elegance! Cutting edge.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team tip: Champagne Extra-Brut Naturelle AOC goes perfectly with fish dishes, shellfish and aperitifs.
Vinification
Very selective harvest by hand. 5% of Chardonnay aged in Burgundian oak barrels, otherwise steel tanks malolactic fermentation. 5 years of bottle aging on the yeast. Dosage 0 g/L. (3g residual sugar).
