About the wine
The winery was founded in 1896 in the municipality of Balavaud in Lower Valais. Jean-René Germanier took over the winery from his father. The estate is currently managed by Gilles Besse, Jean-René's nephew, with great success. The company has been completely equipped with new cellar technology in recent years and forms an important framework of Valais wine. Autochthonous grape varieties such as Cornalin, Humagne and Amigne have been part of the Jean-René Germanier program even before the hype about local and traditional things begins.

Tasting note
The bright purple color and the aromatic variety, which includes notes of red berries, spice and a touch of incense. A wine of race, rich and harmonious, which expresses all the characteristics of Cornalin.

Goes well with red meat, game and game fowl, lamb and cheese.
