About the wine
This dominant Chardonnay 2009 — Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! The gravelly, calcareous soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground for this Chardonnay. The winemaker from the French winery Domaine Laroche knows how to use them and delights us with this white wine. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Chardonnay with asparagus or soft cheese.

It goes wonderfully with smoked salmon or veal in a cream sauce with porcini mushrooms.
Culinary recommendation
Golden yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose, fine notes of white peach, lemon oil and lemon blossom. On the palate, full-bodied, well-structured, with lively acidity and an intense, mineral-salty finish.
Vinification
The Obédiencerie of Chablis has been a wine stronghold since the Middle Ages and Laroche is closely linked to this story. This cultural heritage is still very much alive today: the Domaine still produces and stores its wines in its historic cellars. These wines are the testimony of over 1000 years of history!
