The gravelly, loamy soils in Burgundy offer the winemaker from the French winery Domaine Michaut everything he needs to live out his craft and produce a wine for discerning connoisseurs. Tasting note
The nose is full of youthful mineral aromas. Very fragrant with elegant citrus and vanilla notes. Very complex, perfectly balanced fruit and fine minerals with a slender structure, a harmonious finish with well-balanced acidity.
Culinary recommendation
Delicious with fish — from grilled sea bream and trout to steamed zander or a fine fillet of monkfish. Wonderful with antipasti in all forms — from olives to pickles to vitello tonnato and bruschette.
Vinification
The vineyards of Domaine de la Motte-Chablis Michaut are located on calcareous clay soils. Expansion in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
