About the wine
Since its founding in 1961, the Boisset family business has developed into a respectable wine empire, with estates across France and in California. The boissets have always remained true to their Burgundy origin. Mommesin (Beaujolais) and Ropiteau (Côte d'Or) belong to their Burgundy estate, both first-class houses. Both avoid a uniform house style. Each vineyard should express its own character in wine with elegance and self-evident and without masking the influence of wood — which is nothing more than the age-old Burgundian terroir concept.
