About the wine
The gravelly, calcareous soils in Burgundy offer the winemaker from the French winery Domaine du Chardonnay everything he needs to live out his craft and produce a wine for discerning connoisseurs. Tasting note
Pale yellow in the glass with shiny reflections. The nose is lively with menthol citrus notes. Strong, full-bodied and soft on the palate with a nice acidity and typical minerality. Good persistence.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish, Asian dishes, veal, vegetarian dishes.
Vinification
Controlled alcoholic fermentation. The aging takes place on yeast in temperature-controlled steel tanks and in oak barrels for 15 to 18 months. This is followed by fining and filtration.
