About the wine
Since 1921, the Matasci company has been based in Tenero, nestled in the sunny, vine-covered hills of Locarno with a view of Lake Maggiore. In 1964, Matasci set new standards as a pioneer in healthy winemaking with the Selezione d'Ottobre. This soft, delicate Merlot still shapes the style of Matasci production today.
