About the wine
The Cavanera Contrada Zucconerò Etna Rosso DOC captures the energy of Etna — elegant, profound and earthly. Nerello Mascalese grapes, which grow on the northeast slopes of the volcano, produce a long-lasting wine with distinctive character. After at least one year in tonneaux and six months in the bottle, it delights with soft tannins, balance and a long aftertaste. Fruity notes of plums and blackberries meet floral notes of dried roses and fine spices such as pepper and nutmeg. Lively, lush and harmonious — a wine full of elegance.
