About the wine
Castello di Fonterutoli, located in the middle of Chianti Classico, has been owned by the Mazzei family for almost 600 years and has grown over the centuries into a fantastic 650 ha farm, including 100 ha of vineyards. The Mazzei family attaches great importance to their very important cultural heritage, but they also know from history that you have to keep up with the times. They are wines with a clear signature and origin, which are happy to reach out to both the connoisseur and the layman.

Tasting note
Rich color, clear scent of dark blackberries, some nougat, warm and inviting. On the palate, Castello Fonterutoli bewitches the senses with its sweet tannin and intense, concentrated flavor. Very elegant, with subtle citrus notes. Nice long finale.
