Tasting note
The Reserva shines in a rich cherry red. On the nose, an aromatic potpourri of blackcurrants, blackberries and ripe plums paired with floral and mineral notes as well as spicy accents of vanilla, licorice and candied fruit delights. On the palate, the wine is powerful and full-bodied, with lots of black fruit aromas, sweet spicy and roasted aromas, soft tannins and a long-lasting fruit-borne aftertaste. A power wine with great aging potential.

Vinification
The grapes for the Reserva come from various vineyards in Quintana del Pidio, which are planted with vines that are over 100 years old. After manual harvesting and careful sorting of the grapes, fermentation takes place at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 14 months, partly in French and partly in American barriques, before being bottled and aged in the bottle for at least two years.
