About the wine
The Casa de la Ermita family winery was founded in 1999 in the heart of the Sierra del Carche Valley, a national park in the Jumilla wine region, south of Valencia. I come from north-facing vineyards at an altitude of 700 meters in the Sierra del Carche Valley.

Tasting note
I am an elegant red wine made from Monastrell and Petit Verdot. My aromas are complex — light cherries, red and black fruits, plus fine vanilla and a touch of pepper. On the palate, I am juicy, balanced and finish with an elegant, sophisticated finish.
Culinary recommendation
I go great with grilled meat, lamb, braised vegetables or aged cheese. I am also an ideal accompaniment to tapas or a hearty stew.
Vinification
Six months in French and American oak barrels have shaped my spicy notes and velvety tannin structure. As a result, I became softer and rounder, with tempting hints of pepper and cocoa.
