About the wine
The Egomei winery is a place of pure pleasure. On 120 hectares, the town of Alfaro offers breath-taking nature. The winery is located in Rioja Oriental (formerly Rioja Baja). Since 1975, the vineyards here have been cultivated with great care; right from the start, with the aim of achieving the highest quality for wines made from Tempranillo and Graciano grapes in selected individual sites. The highest level of expertise is also at the heart of the Egomei cellar. The wine is stored in French Allier oak barrels and small tanks until perfect balance and depth are achieved.

Tasting note
Lots of blackberries and red currants characterize this ruby red, harmonious wine. The aromas are complemented by cherry, cocoa and chocolate notes as well as some spicy aspects of vanilla and clove. A soft, round and harmonious structure supports the aromatic fruit, and a long finish rounds off the pleasure.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with veal with light sauces.
