About the product

The story begins in Turin in 1786, when Antonio Benetto Carpano, after a period of studying herbalism, invented the formula that would lead to the creation of the category of wormwood by combining herbs and seasoning with muscat — Carpano wormwood was born. Carpano's wine shop was located directly opposite the Royal Palace and, relying on the attractiveness of his new product, he sent a case of vermouth to King Vittorio Amedeo III. The king immediately liked the drink and he took it into his household.

Tasting note
The taste is sweet at first, but still thanks to the aromas of citrus fruits and plantain and a touch of barley, fresh Very balanced almonds and oils from unripe oranges.
