About the wine
The Netzl family winery is located in Göttlesbrunn, right in the heart of the Carnuntum wine-growing region. The wines that are vinified here are of the highest quality, which is also regularly confirmed by the trade press. The red wine content is 80% - the wines are complex, juicy and firmly structured, full of elegance and finesse. The white wines impress with their clear fruit and freshness. Tasting note
Strong ruby garnet. Finely defined, spicy fruit on the nose. Dark berry, juicy and elegant on the palate with soft tannins. A drinkable cuveé, well-structured with spicy seasoning on the finish.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team is recommended for slightly spicy red meat, poultry and duck. Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 15°-19°C. The recommended enjoyment phase of this wine is in the following period: 2013-2017.
Vinification
Hand harvest of whole grapes with selection of individual berries. The must ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at around 28° C. This is followed by a maceration period of around two weeks. After biological acid degradation, the wine ages in large wooden barrels for 5 months.
