About the wine
In 1934, Italian immigrant Pietro de Martino bought a few hectares of vineyards in the Maipo Valley. In doing so, he continued an old family tradition from Viganello. Oenologist Marcelo Retamal travels to different countries once a year to familiarise himself with local wine production and the latest developments and trends. De Martino wines today are characterized by the intensity of the fruit aroma and by pleasant tannins.
