Tasting note
The “Carmel Appellation Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz” has a deep purple color with aromas of blackberries, spices and dark chocolate. The wine is full-bodied with a long and balanced finish. The red wine remains in excellent drinking condition for up to a few years.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled lamb skewers, spaghetti bolognese or fried poultry.
Vinification
This “Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz” is produced exclusively from a mixture of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, which are grown in the Upper Galilee. After the fermentation process and maceration, the drop is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, followed by a further 12 months of aging in the bottle.
