About the wine
In 1934, Italian immigrant Pietro de Martino bought a few hectares of vineyards in the Maipo Valley. In doing so, he continued an old family tradition from Viganello. Oenologist Marcelo Retamal travels to different countries once a year to familiarise himself with local wine production and the latest developments and trends. De Martino wines today are characterized by the intensity of the fruit aroma and by pleasant tannins.

Tasting note
Aromatically complex, with aromas ranging from black and red fruits to spices and herbs. Distinctive minerality that is characteristic of this wine. In the mouth, it is intense with fresh, ripe fruit and a linear texture, accompanied by edgy tannins and lively acidity that extends the finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with turkey, duck, and red meat.
Vinification
Cold maceration before alcoholic fermentation, aged for 12 months in French barriques.
