About the wine
After 12 months in new French barriques, it has an enchanting scent of ripe cherries, violets and wild berries, delicate roasted aromas of mocca and chocolate. Juicy and full on the palate, yet delicate. Opulent, but without killing.
Tasting note
On the nose, intense aromas of dark berries, black cherries and fine spicy notes develop. On the palate, the wine is powerful and full-bodied, with ripe fruit, soft tannins and a warm, long finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with grilled meat, spicy stews or mature hard cheese.
