Tasting note
A dark-colored fortified wine with lovely aromas of spicy black plums and tobacco. Rich and smooth with aromas of concentrated berries.
Culinary recommendation
In addition to dinner, it also goes well with aged cheese and fresh nuts.
Vinification
After partial fermentation, the wine was infused with aged brandy to approximately 17.0 vol.-%. The wine then rested for two weeks before being moved to 225 liter French oak barrels.
