Tasting note
The Cap Royal is light golden yellow with light green reflections. On the nose, typical aromas of gooseberries, paired with exotic notes and lots of white flowers, inspire. On the palate, the wine is balanced and round with lots of fruit, a racy acid structure and slight mineral notes. An extremely refreshing Bordeaux Blanc with a classic entre-deux-mer character.

Vinification
The Sauvignon-Blanc grapes for this white Bordeaux come from various areas of Bordeaux, with the majority coming from Entre-Deux-Mers. Year after year, the winemaker from Pichon-Baron selects the best grapes to produce a white Bordeaux that is as fresh and authentic as possible. The wine is fermented in steel tanks at controlled cool temperatures and aged on lees for approx. 4 months
