About the wine
The company Bodegas Covitoro was founded in 1974 by a number of winemakers as a cooperative and opened in 1978 after the winery was built. The participating winemakers own vineyards in various areas of Toro. This offers interesting diversity and the best mix. The farm is characterized by the particularly high proportion of very old vineyards. Covitoro processes a total of approx. 1000 ha of grapes. Only Tinta de Toro is used for the red wine.

Dense red with purple reflections. Over 100-year-old vines provide the concentrated juice for this fantastic wine. The fine nuances of the fragrance line up almost infinitely: cherry, cassis, roasted coffee, dried plum, licorice
On the palate, beautiful fruit meets hearty spice.

Goes well with hearty meat dishes and cheese.
