About the wine
We have a special, provocative grenache from 2016 for you that will inspire many wine connoisseurs. The winemaker from the Italian winery Silvio Carta is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and flourishing countryside of Sardinia. The Flaschenpöstler promise a dining experience when you offer this grenache with burgers with blue cheese or spicy food.

Tasting note
The glass has an intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections. On the nose, a wonderful scent of ripe red fruits such as raspberries and cherries. On the palate, balsamic notes and aromas of myrtle and juniper. Extremely well-structured and extremely tasty aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Cannonau di Sardegna DOC passt ideal zu scharfem Essen, rotem Fleisch und Burger mit Blauschimmelkäse.
Vinification
Cannonau is an extremely late-ripe grape variety. The grapes are therefore only harvested by hand in the first 10 days of October. Subsequent mash fermentation and ten-month expansion in steel tanks.
