About the wine
With the dominant Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 — Campo Lusso IGT, nuances and accents are redefined. Blooming and fertile Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Petrolo conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Cabernet Sauvignon is very good to serve with red meat or ribeye steak.
Tasting note
Intense aromas of blackcurrants, ripe plums and a hint of graphite. Underlaid with notes of spices, vanilla and dark chocolate. Powerful and structured on the palate, with fine tannins and a long-lasting, elegant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled meat, game dishes or mature hard cheese. Also ideal as a meditation wine in quiet moments.
Vinification
The hand-picked grapes are carefully selected. After fermentation, it is aged for several months in small oak barrels.
