Campo alle More Veneto Pinot Nero IGT/bc 2021 - Sandro & Claudio Gini

High above the Po Valley, in the easternmost part of Valpolicella, the brothers Alessandro and Claudio Gini acquired a large plot of land in the 1980s. This had been abandoned by previous residents to find work down in the growing industry. The Pinot Noir vines, along with Chardonnay and Sauvignon, were the first to be planted by Alessandro and Claudio. They have now reached an age that produces a profound wine, but which also preserves an almost Burgundian elegance thanks to the altitude.
