About the wine
Calcário do Principal Chardonnay is produced by Quinta Colinas de São Lourenço, a winery in the heart of Bairrada in Portugal. The 61-hectare wine-growing estate benefits from clay and calcareous soil and an Atlantic climate tempered by the surrounding mountains. The estate uses traditional winemaking methods with fermentation in stainless steel tanks and subsequent aging in French oak barrels to produce wines that reflect the purity of the grape variety and terroir.

Tasting note
Lemon yellow color with greenish reflections, shiny and clear. Captivating aromas of flint, tropical fruits and wet stone. Medium-bodied with vibrating acidity and linear minerality that evokes a feeling of “spring water.”
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with seafood, grilled fish, white meats and as an aperitif.
