About the wine
The Eguren family has been growing wine in the fourth generation for well over 100 years and owns several wineries, in particular in the Rioja and Toro regions. In recent years in particular, you can feel the desire, passion and zest for life here, for example in the Sospechoso project with the winemaker collective Uvas Felices, which never caused a sensation, and the Viñedos de Páganos winery. A serious and brilliant introduction to the world of Rioja and up to the top there.

Tasting note
Romantic adventurer. Exudes a wonderful campfire atmosphere, warm and quiet, yet the adventure very close, lots of soil, peat, ash, yet equally wooly and warming, cream, caramel, coffee and nuts, and always a breath of fresh air, plants - and always present the wonderful memories, sweet, dark berries. On the palate again, this relaxed and peaceful adventurer, juicy, sweet blueberries, blackcurrants, earthy warm spice, but also the guy in him who grabs, defies dangers, with his spirit, plenty of grainy tannins, very vital, always ready, minerally tart and fresh acidity, but still with that adventurous charm. Hats off - or hats on - and into the glass! It's at least as fun as riding a Land Rover!

Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Calados del Puntido DOCa passt ideal zu Pizza, Barbecue und Polenta.
Vinification
Selective reading by hand. Aging for at least 16 months in French barrique barrels.
